Analysis of the Causes of Black Spots in Color Masterbatches

Black masterbatch is widely used in injection molded products. On the one hand, it is the source of coloring for plastic products, and on the other hand, it can improve the transparency and anti-aging ability of plastic products. Why do black spots appear during the production of black masterbatches?

1、 The occurrence of spots in black masterbatches is related to the high carbon black content, which to some extent can lead to spots in the produced black masterbatches.

2、 Insufficient wetting of carbon black and uneven mixing with the mixture result in the aggregation of carbon black particles that cannot be dispersed, resulting in black spots.

Improper processing can also affect the appearance of spots, such as improper proportions, reversed processes, and poor dispersion of color masterbatches, resulting in spots.
